Keeping kids safe
Trophy is built for real clubs, where a brilliant day still needs adults to be responsible for the people in it.

Children do not need to create a Trophy account. The organiser, coach, club or guardian decides who may join, what is displayed and who can score. Adults remain responsible for consent, supervision, photography, first aid, transport and the wider event.
2. Junior mode by default
Junior mode is designed to reduce exposure. It keeps records with an adult, uses redacted public names where possible, limits scoring to trusted staff and avoids asking a child for an email address or password.
Organisers should use the minimum information needed, check every public link before sharing it and remove access when the event is over.
3. Communication and contact
Trophy is not a child-to-child messaging service. Organisers should use the club's approved communication channels, keep contact details private and never use a public result board to publish personal information, medical details or location information beyond what the event genuinely needs.
4. Reporting a concern
If someone is in immediate danger, contact the emergency services. For an event concern, follow the organiser's safeguarding process and contact the club's safeguarding lead. To report misuse of a Trophy account or public board, email hello@trophyapp.co.uk with the event code, what happened and how we can reach you.
5. Children's data
The Privacy Policy explains the data we process and the rights available to children and their representatives. We will act on a credible request to correct or remove a child's information, subject to the organiser's role and any legal record-keeping duty.
