1. What Trophy is

Trophy is tournament software. It helps an organiser plan an event, invite people, collect scores, show standings and keep a record of the result. It is not a referee, safeguarding service, payment institution or provider of legal, medical or sporting advice.

Trophy is provided by Cube Systems Limited, a company registered in England and Wales with company number 17220899, trading as Trophy.

2. Who can use it

You must be able to enter a binding contract where you live to create an organiser account. A child may join a tournament without an account, but an organiser, coach or guardian remains responsible for making sure the event is suitable for them.

You must give us accurate information, protect your sign-in method and tell us promptly if you think someone else has accessed your account.

3. Tournaments and join codes

The organiser controls the event settings, invite code, player list, format and visibility. Anyone with a join code may be able to see the information the organiser has chosen to publish, so organisers should treat a code as shareable access to that event.

Do not publish a code where doing so would expose a child, private result or other personal information to people who should not see it. We may disable a code where we reasonably believe it is being misused.

4. Scores, corrections and the public board

Trophy records results as they change. Where two-sided confirmation is enabled, a score becomes current when the relevant people confirm it or an organiser resolves the difference. A correction may create a new version rather than erasing the earlier record.

The organiser, not Trophy, remains responsible for the accuracy of scores, standings, awards, fixtures and decisions made during the event. Public result pages may be cached briefly so supporters can read them reliably.

5. Plans, trials and payment

Some Trophy features may be free and others may be paid. We show the price, currency, taxes and what is included before you buy. Payments may be processed by Stripe under its own terms and privacy notice.

Unless the checkout says otherwise, a purchase is for the plan or event described at checkout. If a consumer cancellation right applies, we will explain how it works. We may change prices for future purchases and will not silently change the price of an existing paid period.

6. Your content and data

You keep ownership of names, team details, logos, scores and other content you provide. You give Trophy permission to store, process and display that content only as needed to provide the service, support your event and meet our legal obligations.

You must have the right and any permissions needed to provide the information, especially where it relates to children or another person. Do not upload sensitive information that the event does not need.

7. Acceptable use

You must not use Trophy to harass, threaten, discriminate against, impersonate or target another person. You must not probe, scrape, overload or interfere with the service, bypass access controls, upload malicious code or use Trophy for unlawful activity.

We may remove content, restrict an account or close access where reasonably necessary to protect people, the service or our legal obligations.

8. Availability and support

We work to keep Trophy available, but online services can be interrupted for maintenance, connectivity, third-party failures or events outside our control. A tournament should have a practical fallback for scores and safety decisions.

9. Intellectual property

Trophy, its design, software, names, logos and documentation belong to us or our licensors. We give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service while your account or event is active. You must not copy, resell or reverse engineer it except where the law expressly allows that.

10. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

Subject to that, Trophy is provided with reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for sporting decisions, event safety, inaccurate information supplied by users, loss caused by a failure to keep a join code private or indirect losses that were not reasonably foreseeable.

11. Changes and ending use

We may improve, suspend or retire features. If a change materially affects a paid service, we will give reasonable notice where practical. You can stop using Trophy at any time and ask us to close your account.

We may suspend access where needed for security, non-payment, misuse or legal reasons. Relevant provisions about content, payment, liability and law continue after access ends.

12. Law and contact

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you are a consumer, you also benefit from any mandatory protections of the law of the part of the UK where you live and may bring proceedings there.
